The 11" hinge is perfect for adhering art or documents into a binder or portfolio with a 11" spine ( all standard three ring binders). Note that the document could be a flat sheet of paper or even a fold out so sometimes people combine hinges with other sheet protectors to create a dynamic presentation or to accommodate different insert.
